Re: Proceedings of the 3rd International Workshop on Neutrino-Nucleus Interactions in the Few-GeV Region on 17-21 March

Dear Author,

We have been notified that you will be contributing to the above-mentioned electronic camera-ready copy (e-CRC) publication, and in this connection we enclose herewith the Elsevier instructions for the preparation of an e-CRC paper. We ask that you study the enclosed materials before beginning the final preparation of your paper, and also that you proofread your paper carefully before submitting (as it will appear in the published volume in exactly the same form). You will receive no proofs.

Elsevier can only accept MS Word, LaTeX, or postscript/PDF files as e-CRC.

MS Word file

Please ensure that you use as much as possible normal fonts in your documents, such as Times New Roman, Arial, Symbol, Helvetica, or Times (TrueType or Type 1 fonts). Special fonts, such as those used in the Far East (Japanese, Chinese, Korean, etc.) may cause problems during processing. If you use many special fonts, please convert the document to PDF with Adobe Acrobat (see below, and also the Author Gateway’s Quickguide: http://authors.elsevier.com). Please place figures in a logical place within the document. See also the section on Preparation of electronic illustrations on the same website. To avoid unnecessary errors you are strongly advised to use the “spellchecker” function of your word processor.

LaTeX files

Please use a LaTeX setup that uses Type 1 fonts instead of the sometimes default bitmap fonts (Type 3, or pk fonts). For instance, using the LaTeX Times package may be enough to enable this adjustment. Please provide all document related and temporary files on submission, as well as the resulting postscript or PDF file. For authors using LaTeX, you can prepare your article using Elsevier's CRC LaTeX package, which can also be found at http://www.elsevier.nl/locate/latex

Postscript/PDF files

Please create postscript files, making sure all fonts are embedded.

When creating PDF files with Adobe Acrobat, please use version 4.05 or higher, and use the standard “Press Optimised” settings, as provided by Adobe.

Your paper should not exceed the specified pages in length:

- 6 pages for a Oral Sessions contribution (30 min. talk)

- 4 pages for a Poster Session contribution

Your original, final, file, should be e-mailed as an attachment, to arrive not later than August 8th, 2004, to the Guest Editor at the address below:

E-mail: flavio.cavanna@aquila.infn.it

All queries relating to the scientific content, submission date and/or page limit should be referred to the Guest Editor at the above address. Any technical questions regarding the preparation of your paper may be directed to the undersigned, quoting the above-mentioned publishers' reference.

The copyright transfer and offprint order forms will be sent by e-mail after Elsevier has received the complete proceedings package from the Guest Editors. Please return these forms promptly.

Yours sincerely,

Rogier van Kuyk
